New Work **** Warning Heavy Metal Ahead...

By that I mean that I have been mostly working with metal, wire... copper sheet more wire...

Playing with wire-wrapped wire... I like how this turned out.. and that is a ceramic bead from my stash...

A few months ago I went to the Monrovia Rock Hounds ROCK SHOW !! at the L.A. Arboretum... That was fun... I came away with oh about 10 pounds of rocks... and two of these Ulexite (TV Rock) stones... This one is Carol's  http://beadsandbirds.blogspot.com/  and the other is mine... which I will wear again after I glue it back together... it fell off the couch right on my hammer which was on the floor... luckily didn't do more than just crack.

This pic is pre-crack...

Look !!! Thats (mostly) me on the bottom shelf...

I wrapped this agate slice for my friend Millie, lovely proprietor of Penny For Your Thoughts... where I have some of my items for sale.

Silver wire, pearls and swarovski...

Red Lace Agate wrapped with silver and copper wire and that is a moonstone 2-hole bead on the bail.

Been on a pendant kick lately... plus am deciding what to donate to my daughter's school fundraiser event this coming weekend for their "Handmade Table" So have been going through a lot of my goodies... this is just a few of them...

A few bracelets... I love bracelets and cuffs especially...
plus having fun with Liver of Sulfur... phew but look at the results...

Happy likes this one...

These are fun even sideways...

Earwires and swirl headpins are from Rocki !! you can get them here... http://www.etsy.com/shop/RockisSupplies

These ammonites were wrapped by my friend Diana...
of Jewels of the Earth by Diana... her work is fab and she has the nicest stones...
http://www.jewelsoftheearthbydiana.com/ if you ever get a chance to see her at a show definately go by and tell her I sent you...

Found a tutorial on JewelryLessons.com to make these garden hat pins... shh they are a gift for my favorite gardeners... who I will be seeing very soon...

Happy is just tired out from looking at all these pics...

In other news... my son is graduating from HS in 15 days !! My dad is coming for 3 weeks from Myrtle Beach, SC he will be here in 6 DAYS !!! YAY! Mom and Auntie are also coming for Michael's graduation... Missy is almost done with 9th grade...
and my <3 is on his way home..

Until next time... (prob 6 months ha ha ha...)

Happy Creating !!!
