Did this this weekend. I am not sure what the stone is, it looks kind of like lapis but with white (crystal) in it. I bought it at the Pasadena Bead & Design Show which is coming again... in Feb I think...! It was fun... I love doing bead embroidery... Took a break from the belt buckles until I decide which buckle blank I am going to use. I have a friend that asked me to make him a USC buckle.... maybe I will... of course it won't be licensed... LOL

I really like this cab. I have looked at heart cabs, but hesitated to buy one for fear that I wouldn't bead the top...hump come together part..just right. As always, you take the lead and do a great job.
I love your work AND your turtles. I always get a little pang when I meet another Californian. I have no doubt that Boulder is the place for me but my blood still contains alot of my old home. To answer your question, I have two banquet tables in the middle of my living room/studio that form a giant square beading space. "Putting away" my beads usually means placing them back in their open plastic boxes at the back of the tables according to color. This happens occasionally...The beading process for me is a joyful explosions of texture and color! Thanks for following me!
Ha ha Carol.... Wait till you see what I have planned for that druzy heart I got last week.. Wait till I see it too... LOL
Thanks Camilla - Where in Cali did you live? I love your dolls they are great...

Hi Deb,
I love your work.
Also I was reading through your blog and saw the question about where do you bead.
I have cabinets that I store beads in.
But I bead off of a kids tray I bought at Michael's. I love it. It has deep pockets on each side for storing the items I am using. Oh and I sit in my recliner.
Hugs,
Sunni
Sunni, Thank you for the compliment... I have seen those trays @ Michaels too... I use these cafeteria trays that I think come from airplanes... My LBS sells them and I have A LOT but could always use more...
